LOCTITE SI 5910

LOCTITE SI 5910 is a one-component RTV silicone sealant designed to replace conventional gaskets, with low strength. It is designed for flexible metal or plastic flanges, particularly suitable for machined or cast surfaces. It is recommended for use with ceramic, glass, metal, and plastic materials.

The product offers resistance to oil and joint movement, while also being capable of filling large gaps. Its thixotropic properties help prevent the sealant from spreading or running after application, providing excellent stability during both manual application and automated dispensing.

LOCTITE SI 5910 is commonly used for sealing and forming oil-resistant gaskets on machinery components, automotive and motorcycle engines, and industrial equipment. This sealant is suitable for joints and thin, flexible, or stamped metal flanges where conventional gaskets are prone to leakage, as well as applications exposed to high vibration and severe shock. It also provides good adhesion when used on plastic components or painted surfaces.

The product is available in various packaging formats, including tubes, cartridges, and pressure tanks, offering flexibility to meet different application requirements.
